We know there are many great dance studios to choose from in the New Orleans Metro area. When deciding where your child is going to dance, there are so many different factors to consider, and we totally understand that. What are the teachers like? How well maintained is the facility? What is the classroom dynamic? A dance studio often becomes like a second home for young dancers and their families. That is why it is SO important to find one that you and your dancer connect with.

1 - Our Dance Program
We offer dance classes for ages 3 and up and fitness classes for adults, making it easy for the whole family to join the fun. For kids who want to feel like princesses by playing dress up and dancing gracefully on their toes, we have Princess Ballerinas program added to our Shimmer & Sparkle dance classes. These are great intro classes for gross motor skills in creative movement, and having fun making TONS of noise in tap! If your child loves music, rhythm, and has lots of personality Jazz and Hip Hop are right for them. Lastly, if you have an experienced dancer who is ready to take dance to the next level we have advanced dance conditioning and technique classes to help them get prepared for pointe, dance/cheer teams, competitive dancing, and professional dance.

2 - Convenient Schedules
We know everyone has busy busy schedules! That's why we try to make our programs convenient and easy. We offer Saturday and Weekday classes. Finding a class that fits in with your schedule has never been easier.

3 - Performance Opportunities
Our programs go beyond our weekly dance classes. Dance Lyfe's recreational dance classes include a Holiday show right before Christmas break. This is a mini show to show off the skills we've learned so far in the season, and also to have some fun in our community bringing in some Holiday Cheer! And we can't forget our fabulous end of year production to close out the year. All dancers wear their sparkly costumes and hit the big stage, building confidence and making memories that last a lifetime.
In addition to those performances, we have our new Competition Company that will consist of 3 teams. These dedicated dancers will perform both at competitions and community events, sharing their love of dance all year round!
4 - Welcoming Environment
At Zan's Dance Lyfe we strive to make everyone feel welcomed, whether you're brand new to the studio or returning for your 5th year of dance! We have classes for students no matter what stage of their dance journey they're in. Our family-friendly environment helps our students gain self-confidence, self-esteem, and discipline all while maintaining age and developmentally appropriate classes. Using age appropriate music and costumes in class and for performances will always be our policy. We want your kids, to be kids!
Our qualified teachers keep our students busy learning proper terminology and technique while teaching them important life skills such as discipline, focus, and grace that they will carry well beyond their dance years. We are beyond passionate about dance along with creating an all-inclusive, positive environment for our students. We love seeing our dance family grow and thrive each year.
